Film: Toy Story (1995)
Director: John Lasseter
Running time: 01 hour, 21 minutes
Rating: 9/10
This might be the worst of the trilogy, but it's still a wonderful film and I can't think of a better thing to pop on the telly while I'm peeling hundreds of potatoes and parsnips.
While there have been some great animated movies in the past, Toy Story remains one of my favourites. Unlike Disney films, Pixar throw in jokes for their adult audiences and create characters that everyone loves, characters that have flaws, that the audience connects to.
Luckily for me, someone treated me to the trilogy for Christmas. I might have to catch up on two and three. It's been a while since I've watched them all.
