I really found this film dull. How can it have such a strong cast and yet completely fail to engage me? A lot of people have told me that I'd enjoy this, that they really enjoyed it, but it just wasn't for me. I'm not really sure why.
It was nice, for the first time in a long time, to see Johnny Depp playing a character that wasn't another caricature of Captain Jack Sparrow, and his cheekbones are pretty special but other than the handsome girls and boys I struggled to find any positives with this movie.
